On Sunday, Nov. 22nd, we are hosting a tour, tea, and medicine making class focused on herbs for digestion, just in time for feasting season.
You are welcome to join for the tour/tea, and if you'd like, you can also join for the medicine making portion where we will be tea-blending. I'll guide you through a fun time rummaging our hands into beautiful bowls of plants and let you know about the medicinal properties, lore, and also any contraindications for the well-known digestive allies/plants we'll be working with.
Important: Please bring your own mixing bowl (and any herbs/plants you'd like to work with, though there are also plenty here, all included, along with a 16 oz mason jar)
What’s included: Entrance to the museum/medicinal garden, tea/a medicinal garden tour, and, for the Make Your Own Medicine portion, a guided experience making your own herbal tea with high-quality/locally grown plants that you'll take home in a 16 oz mason jar.
A note on wellness: We're a close-knit, hands-on group. If you're feeling even slightly under the weather, please sit this one out and join us at a future event.
Important note on refunds: Because we book the space and buy materials ahead of time, we can only offer refunds if you cancel a full week before the event.
